Wondering if anyone has tried closing the cash plus account and opening it again when it is closer to the time of my annual fee and still be able to get the sign up bonus. I'd expect since the MS people give out the engagement bonus then they'd not let that happen, but thought I'd check. Thanks!

If you close your CashPlus account, it'll be disconnected from your MS Plat. Once you re-open it, good luck getting it re-linked properly. It'll put eyes on your account, and decent chance you'll get bounced out for abuse if you don't otherwise have a meaningful relationship with MS.
