In a similar case I have had no issue dropping a ZRH-MUC segment, show up in MUC and had no issues ... but YMMV because in my case the flight was no longer operating ... just remained on the ticket.

As long as this is ticketed, you should be o.k. The ticket touches to US ... you can reach out to the US DOT to get this fixed.
