No, that's a resort/destination fee, so contacting corporate won't do anything. I would recommend checking the cash price, inclusive of tax but exclusive of the destination fee, and comparing that with the number of points you are spending to determine if it is a good value redemption, knowing you will pay the destination fee regardless. If it's not, don't use points or book a different hotel.
