by courtsey, they will only respond to your email saying they'll do their best... still subject to availability
For early check in, sometimes it would be useful to know in advance if there is likely to be availability, to decide if it's worth going to the hotel early or not. But it does seem they won't say over email or phone and you have to turn up in person to find out if you can come in or get told to come back again later.
