But on topic, it *would* be awesome if Alaska took some of the Virgin policies where it was only $25 for an extra bag or $25 for overweight... I actually moved a bunch of stuff from my condo in Winter Park, Fl to Juneau on Virgin America/Alaska specifically because of the $25 excess bag fee - I had a total of *14* pieces Was the cheapest "move" of my life!!
Also VX weight limit was 70 lbs (or at least it was in 2008 or so).
