I'll soon be doing BOM-FRA-AMS with a 1 hour transit. Considering the queues at the airport these days, and that I can't use the egates, I imagine there's a high chance of missing the flight if there's any significant delay anywhere? If that does happen, is LH open to rebooking to other cities(LHR) instead? I'd very much prefer that as opposed to going to Amsterdam and then on to london
You still have a reasonable chance of making it, the AMS flight might be late departing, it’s a very short flight & IME they pad the time.
If you miss the connection i would be surprised if the transfer desk would change your destination but it doesn’t hurt to request that & do let us know how it goes ? Good luck !
