Planning a short hop next year SEA to YYC and weight should be fine but 2 of our large holdalls come in at nearly 64" linear, so I was hoping they might be OK if they were squishy enough?
They are pretty lenient regarding the linear inches. look at sporting equipment, or band instruments. a surfboard is way over 64 linear inches. I recently checked a large box containing 14 coconut palm trees. it was 18x18x48. they didn't bat an eye at it. they said are these golf clubs I said "no, its palm trees." they let it go right through, no issues.
