Yeah that does seem steep for the upgrade to plunge pool rooftop suite vs, oceanview suite -- I've stayed in both of those room types and all you are gaining are a top floor room and the plunge pool (with larger deck).

On the other hand, while pricey, I'd be temped on the bi-level penthouse suite since the sales price on those tends to be quite high.
