On separate tix I would think long and hard about this. I agree that 2:15 is more than sufficient time and that there should not be a problem with the inbound aircraft, but you're still at risk of a miss due to weather delays at either CNX or BKK, for example. The risk is relatively low, but the consequences are pretty bad, since you will have no right to be rebooked and will basically be at BR's mercy to find you seats on another flight, which they will have absolutely zero obligation to do.

My preference would be to fly into BKK the night before.
