This property has had a very rough patch during the pandemic but now seems to be emerging from this. At one point there was no catering at all here, no shuttle, several floors closed completely, housekeeping so limited that when a guest left the hotel, their room would have to wait several days before it could be put back on sale. Even a few months ago a very limited catering effort was provided by allowing people to collect EPS (polystyrene) boxes and eat in their own rooms from a 4 item menu.

Happily that now appears to over and there is now a pretty traditional breakfast buffet and evening meal catering. No lunch offering, and the evening meal catering is from a fairly short menu. For breakfast the remarkable aspect is that if you stick to continental / cold items on the left side, then it's USD13 plus tax makes it about $14.15, so just below the $15 dollar food allowance for Diamonds. Hot items on the right side bring it up to $28 with tax. On my stay last week this was efficiently handled at invoicing stage too. Tips would be extra. I don't think the lounge is coming back however.

The shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour (from 04:00 hrs to midnight) and at 30 minutes past the hour, so two services per hour. If being collected from SFO then the earliest it can arrive is about 13 minutes later (using T2 as the first stop at SFO) and usually several minutes later. Hotel shuttles run from the departure, not arrival, level. This timetable is ambitious since there is very little leeway for delays, and it's only when there is a shift switch that the schedule can get back on track. I guess one could also use the Embassy Suites Waterfront Burlingame shuttle, it's a short walk away along the bay pathway. Note there is another ES north of SFO, known as ES San Francisco Airport, that's not useful in this context.
