Ghost Run is where you attempt (not successful in many cases) to check in fully online and get credit for the stay.
Mattress Run is where you physically check in but only stay for a small part of the booked nights.
In any case ALWAYS book with MGM as the rates will be cheaper and you get Hyatt credit both ways, status doesn’t matter for booking.
I was referring to a ghost run, which is why I said ghost run. I know the difference between a ghost run and a mattress run. I am NOT going to be there physically at all. Check in online check out online. There have been many successful DPs of ghost runs so I did a one night tester. What do you mean status doesn't matter for booking? What if the Hyatt rate is cheaper? (I have a corporate code)
