We will see. I doubt they get rid of the mask nonsense on the flights if for no other reason that they are passing a law to allow hotels to bar people entry without a mask, so I can't imagine the flights getting rid of it voluntarily. It is interesting to me that basically 100% of the japanese public wears it now (and probably 90% wear it because they don't want to be the only one not wearing it) yet even though mask usage was fairly common before in Japan and other asian countries, it was still maybe only 10-15% at any given moment wearing it and now it seems like they will just be feedback looped into everyone wearing it because no one wants to the one to stop. Of course, tourists now coming and inevitably not wearing it could possibly break open that trend enough to allow other japanese to stop wearing it. Who knows. From what I read the ANA policy is still actually being enforced in every class of service, unless I am wrong?
