Tho not Alaska owned entity, I believe AS could negotiate with Condor to provide international upgrade opportunity for 100K members between "Frankfurt and USA" Transatlantic flights. With Alaska Mileage plan as the only DE partnered program, I believe Alaska could bolster its position and make Alaska Mileage plan even more attractive. DE can still manage upgrade bucket, and have full control when upgrades are handed out.

As for me. 2023 will be my last year as 100K, as reduction of redeyes in January will (especially JFK and IAD) limits my ability to fly on the weekends.
