Yes, but before you do anything you should consider whether you could use this to request a better or more direct routing. For example, if you are flying (for the sake of argument) LHR - DFW - PHX then you could ask to be rebooked on the direct flight on the basis this is an involuntary change. Knowing the routing, date, and whether you booked with BA or AA would be helpful too.
