As a US citizen you are exempt from the vaccination requirements when returning to the USA. However, you will still need to complete the attestation.
That said, BA's world-class IT may still ask you to upload documents, then tell you nothing is required, then tell you that the documents you weren't required to upload are being reviewed and, finally, tell you that the review of the non-existent documents is complete and you can use online check-in.
