Properties in many Asian countries add 10%-15% Service Charge as a standard practice. This applies to all chains as well as locally run independents. There is no need to tip for service with this Service Charge added. You will be assessed this 10%-15% Service Charge irrespective of booking channel.

"Service Charges" added after Rates shown
"Service charge"(Japan) = resort fee?
