I stayed there recently. Paid 1135 AED ($309) on a Marriott promo (and September still being low season).

I really enjoyed it - Bonvoy recognition is good, got upgraded to the highest non-suite room category. Floor 27, amazing views.

for a newly opened hotel the service was great - the staff seemed very eager to please and attentive. The F&B options are still limited, but more is coming in November I was told.

pool is lovely, although you have to be early as the sunbeds are gone quickly, and apparently there also outside guests buying pool passes. They have their own beach spot just between Barasti and Le Meridien. Facilities at Westin & LM can be used complimentary, and F&B can be charged directly to the room at all hotels.

For the price I paid, I would say it is definitely worth it. When I look at the winter rates though…$800-1000 per night…I think you can find much better places for that money.
