Just wondering if anyone here has snorkeled on the Lagoon side. I want to take my 5 year old snorkeling but the reef is a little too far out for him. As long as there's something for him to see, he'll be happy, doesn't need to be wall to wall sea life like at the reef.
If you head to the Lagoon villas, there are a few small areas of coral with smaller fish around (once you find one you can swim in straight line towards the overwater villas)
You can also access the main reef by walking most of the way, by following the red line on the map (by getting onto the smaller island near the main restaurant and walking across the sand)
