Yesterday’s BA624 LHR to Rhodes was diverted to Athens, also shows as ZY on Expertflyer. No idea what the reason was but interested to find out. Weather was perfect at Rhodes yesterday and dozens of other flights from UK all landed fine. Passengers were eventually flown to Rhodes nine ours later on another A321 that BA positioned to from Heathrow. Passengers waiting at RHO to fly back to LHR have been delayed overnight until 15:00 this afternoon.
