While UA went overboard over last week on cards/nice recognition on flights as I crossed the 2M mark, I did have to get creative for a BOS-SFO-SIN with the domestic leg in Economy to avoid the insane $35K tickets from another thread. Even the flight attendants remarked 'you'd think they'd push an upgrade through for all this travel'!



Couldn't have said it better. My only requirements are pre-boarding, a mattress pad (INTL), regular refills of club soda, and coffee. I'm lucky to get one of those on any given flight, and get yelled at for going to the galley to ask for drinks.
Just needlessly splitting a hair here: UA doesn't serve club soda at all, they only serve seltzer (and the flavoured things, which personally I enjoy).
