Yes I misread it as CDG. Misconnects is the most likely situation in that case then, where it became clear that the misconnect was for sure going to occur and they wasn't going to be a chance to connection hold it. But of course depending on the plane 10 minutes prior to boarding can still be a failure to check in by the 45 minutes cut off, though usually those aren't off loaded until 30 minutes prior to departure (after boarding starts in almost all situations).
