Telling them that fight was delayed from the day before didn't help. Sat in TSA penalty box for about 20 minutes until a super-supervisor said it was ok.
That's a TSA issue. Pretty sure that had you gone to AA's ticket counter and asked them to print a physical boarding pass that the physical boarding pass would still reflect the flight's originally scheduled departure date.
The bigger issue here is that airlines pass boarding pass data to TSA at all. Shouldn't happen.
