Have had this issue w/ TSA at LGA.

Flight delayed from say 10pm until 8am. So got a hotel, came back in a.m. and TSA told me my boarding pass wasn't valid because it was for the previous day.

Telling them that fight was delayed from the day before didn't help. Sat in TSA penalty box for about 20 minutes until a super-supervisor said it was ok.
