Rude agents, “price upload”, and what should I do now?

I’ve spent 5+ hours and been speaking with 10+ TK agents over the past 3 days. This is just really frustrating.

I used TK miles to book a star alliance partner award ticket but had to change the trip. I called TK agents. Some were nice, but many were simply impatient and even rude. Some even “scolded me” and gave me entirely wrong information lying to me claiming crazy things such as my request were unavailable or I have to pay double the miles. I was only able to secure the flight I want after HUCA a several time.

Now the latest is the agent told me there’s a price and mile difference (tax differences and lower mile requirements because I switched to a closer destination) that one of their other department needs to “upload the price” before they can charge me, and that “someone will call me in the next 3-5 hours. If not, call back”

I first heard of this “someone would call me in 3 hours” since 2 days ago, and I’ve received no call. I tried to call back multiple times over the last 48 hours but just heard the same “in 3 hours” again and again.

The agent also informed me there is a deadline I have to pay, which is now due in almost 24 hours on 25 Sept. I am willing to pay anytime since 2 days ago, but it’s TK who hasn’t finished the “upload the price” thing. I wonder what I should and could do now? I’m really afraid when the time is up they’d auto cancel my reservation and I might not be able to get that award spot anymore since it’s with a Star partner. Help!
