My spouse immigrated from another country. Her medical records from that country have a nickname (think Alex for Alexandria or Sophie for Sophia).

So her vaccination certificate given name doesn't match her passport, but surname and DOB do match the passport.

Does anyone have data points on success? I'm kind of lost on how to approach this issue because I know there are complications if airline tickets don't 100% match passports.
