Has anybody actually tried this? I registered for it for my flight today, a red-eye with a meal served 2 hrs pre-arrival (no thanks!), and at the check in counter, they double checked that I did not in fact want a meal and mumbled something that sounded like “the amenity kit is the same”? Considering that JAL emails me about this before every single flight, I’m amazed that they don’t seem to have the program figured out at all…
