Rebooking after misconnecting on KLM
After a summer of witnessing FAs walking through the aircraft and telling passengers in hushed tones that they have missed their connection, today it's my turn. I was fully prepared for this when booking a 45-minute connection which may be legal but was always going to be tight.
Subsequent connection currently shows as having zero availability. Does being ST Elite Plus give me any kind of preference in the rebooking process? Do they do standby, or will I just travel on whichever flight has confirmable space? Also, if I have to wait longer than for the next flight, do they issue any kind of food vouchers to rescue me from the Crown Lounge grub? And finally, how good are they att retagging and delivering bags after a misconnection?
