Checked in at the Cotton last night. Lifetime Titanium. Was told there were no room available for upgrade. After getting to our room checking the booking site online it showed Madras room for sale the next 4 nights. Front desk says that's not correct. I offer to book a reservation so they an see it's willing to take a confirmed reservation but they say if I do I'll be charged due to the requirement to cancel 48 hours ahead. No offer to override. I take screenshots instead.

Either the Cotton House is playing games with inventory to avoid giving upgrades or is willing to list rooms for sale that aren't available which is going to result in downgrades for those who book them. Either way a bit strange.

Like others was offered the drink coupon the small print says it's only good for beer, wine, soda or juice not a mixed drink. I consider it a bit misleading to offer a drink coupon for the bar that doesn't include a cocktail.
