When it becomes official they can always add it back. With the Dollar so strong against the Yen the State isn’t optimistic about Japanese tourism even when restrictions end.
It's official, Oct 11 for Japan, fully reopen. And this wasn't a surprise, it was pretty well known. HKG and Taiwan are also dropping restrictions.
