We just finished a 1 night stay after our trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu. We had booked a king room and were upgraded to a Junior Suite. As others have noted the breakfast was excellent and the rooftop bar was fun, if a bit pricey by Peru standards. The location worked for us as we spent some time in both Barranco and the historic center of LIma. Ubers were common and extremely inexpensive - usually less than 3 USD for our trips - but traffic was bad and a 5 mile trip could take more than a half hour. Leaving the hotel at around 6:30pm, the ride to the airport took about 90 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. I asked for a 4pm checkout when checking in, planning our leaving our luggage for a few hours before heading to the airport. The desk agent said of course and asked what time our flight was departing. I said we'd be leaving the hotel around 6:30pm and our late checkout was extended until then.
