In my limited flights on the 789, the FAs were using the closet on the port side of the aircraft near 9A and therefore the closet light would shine into the seat.

It was the reverse on the 77w, 9L would be used...

However, nowadays we have no United flights ex-BOM, so I am relegated to fly LX/LH and possibly LO, as well as other carriers such as QR/EY ...
