I tried to delete this entire post because it's not in the best forum to post but I can't. So just read on if you wish...

Today, my AAdvantage account reaches 50,011 mi. What's your opinion of stopping further use of the account except for withdrawal?

1. I fly AA only about once every 12-24 months. Only American Eagle flies to my home airport.

2. I can get by flying other carriers, such as NW, CO, DL, WN, etc.

3. I am lowly silver medallion at DL although pre-9/11, I was gold on as many as 3 airlines.

4. I can deposit any future AA flights in my Alaska Airlines account but would forfeit any kind of booking or check in bonus which may exist at the time.

Have any of you become inactive in your other ff programs? I have done so with Lufthansa and US Airways already.
