Hi, I have a BA Chase Visa card that earns 3x Avios per USD spent on BA and IB purchases. A couple months ago I bought an IB gift card in order to take advantage of the 15% off promo, and I can confirm that that transaction posted as an IB purchase, and it netted me 3x Avios per USD spent.
