BA360/361 STA 1255 (ETD 1350) - 55 mins on ground

Timings are detailed below. But following connections took you to passport control, around to baggage reclaim and into the main check in area. No real shortcut through. I would have "missed" the flight if I was on a B2B. Small point is there IS a transfer door to T1 Schengen departures after the first passport control, However this was locked and barricaded with barriers so looks to be closed and not a one off. If this opens it may save you 10 mins or so as you avoid the security screening, but doesn't work at the moment.

STA 1255
ATA 1311
Stand 1316 (STA +21)
Off 1319
Through Passport 1325
Exit Baggage 1328
Through Security 1340
To Passport 1342
Through Passport 1344
At Gate 1345 (STD -10)

In summary, I think Lyon in the current configuration is not feasible, but doable if you land ontime and get lucky with no queue at security (or push to front). (BA do NOT provide fasttrack)
If I had ran I would've made it, so certainly plausible. Just not the easiest compared to many other options. My 10 mins in security is what hypothetically would have eliminated this chance.

The things I do for FT
Today, I have done the same as george77300 did in LYS.

Had I been on the B2B, I too would have missed the connection as they were already announcing boarding for the return flight just as I was finishing up at passport control into France (and there is quite a walk to baggage reclaim, then out, upstairs, through security, back upstairs, through passport control again etc. etc. etc.)

Transfer door to T1 Schengen departures after the first passport control still closed and barriers blocking it off still.

I agree that a B2B is unfeasible - maybe theoretically possible if you are very lucky and there are no queues whatsoever but I would say it was too risky especially as immigration and security queues were long today.

One good bit of news, however, is that BA did provide Fast Track (with my OWE status), contrary to previous reports from earlier in the year. It automatically showed up on my mobile boarding pass - so that is very a welcome addition. It worked a treat, especially as security lines were LONG today.

If possible, can someone add LYS to the Wiki?
