Hello all.
Due to arrive at Al Maha on Monday and wondered what the current mask policy is? The website says still required in restaurant/gym etc. Is that still the case in reality? Same with flying Emirates? I thought masks were long gone so this is quite a surprise for us coming from the UK.

Your recent travel must have been fairly narrow in scope, as a lot of places still have some mask requirements in place. I know it sucks. Emirates will apparently enforce the masking. It is a legal requirement in Dubai to wear them still, with some recent noises towards beefing enforcement up. Having said that, I can’t speak to what the hotel will allow, which may be far more relaxed in practice.
