Just did UA 1 SFO-SIN yesterday in 9A.
IMHO, 9A is clearly the best seat. As you can see from the photo taken on the flight, there is no galley light. No galley noise. I slept 10 hours out of the 16-hour flight.

Mini cabin also helps with less foot traffic.
