There wasn't a single direct seat on Emirates Etihad or BA from the UAE to the UK available last week and the routes via Rome Amsterdam and Pars dried up pretty quickly as well. That is something like, and please happily correct my foolishness, 8000 seats a day which I have never seen before. Is nuts
