There's been a big downgrade on breakfast, gone are the local specialties, much less choice on the buffet and not even olive oil (any kind of dressing) for the salad.
Many staff have already moved on (told they were "fed up") and replaced with a very inexperienced team...they seemed kinda miserable
Told reason for cuts is "inflation". We can't even afford a little jug of oil...?
Rates are considerably higher, but perhaps not enough to compensate? It's a weird excuse cos LT has been battling inflation long before the "situation" in UA.
So for two years the reason for cuts was "covid" and now the reason for cuts is "inflation"
And I guess with this inflation that it doesn't apply to hotel rates and so rates haven't gone up at all in Europe to offset it
