All of the terminals have access to the Piccadilly line - so no need to go to Hatton Cross.
I believe the shuttle bus will take you to the terminal. Just get off at whichever terminal they stop at first and follow signs to the underground.
We got the shuttle bus from the AVIS station and went to T2 which we then planned to get on the Tube but the Piccadilly line was closed due to maintenance so we had to walk to the Elizabeth line
