Are tickets purchased with IAP discount considered "specialty tickets" (UA)?

Hi - I hope I am right by posting this in the Amex forum instead of the United forum. I bought a business class ticket on Amextravel using the IAP discount. The flight is marketed as NH, but the first segment (EWR-NRT) is operated by UA. I am trying to figure out mileage earnings for the UA MileagePlus program. If I understand right, UA-operated flights usually credit based on fare, except in the case of "specialty tickets" - does anyone have experience on whether IAP discount tickets are considered "specialty"? Thanks!
