Personally we only stay at the Four Seasons in Georgetown now. It's obviously not near the DC touristy spots, but after trying several of the normal recommendations over the years and always being disappointed, we'd rather have an excellent consistent product.

The only place left that we might try is the Rosewood in the townhouses. The Capella was awful, but with a change in owner and the standalone townhouses, it's probably worth a try.
