Pretty much describes any outstation CE check in queue.

• They open 2hrs before (maybe later) whilst people have been waiting since at least 3hrs before
• the CE/status desk queue goes very slowly for inexpicable reasons (as when I reach the desk my check in takes about 60 secs !) .
• The CE/status queue will be as long/if not longer than the non status queue
• Everyone will huff and puff
• Someone will try to bypass the queue saying they have priority
• In the meantime the ET / bag drop queue goes down very quickly so you'll wish you just got in that
• Everyone makes it on in the end

Agree it's a frustrating experience & alarming for someone new to BA but it's been like this at most smaller Euro outstations for as long as I can remember, check in won't close with people in the queue. Best to just rock up late
