Thanks for the information everybody!
Will you be an expat send by a company to DK? Or as a student? Or something different?

If going as an expat and the company does not have an established local entity, brace yourself for some mind-boggling stupid bureaucracy. I remember the "To get your CPR number, you need an employment contract. For a valid employment contract you will need a local residence, but to register for a local residence with the kommune, you need.... the CPR number."-dance I had with Skat. At some point I gave up and my company hired Deloitte. in CPH to fix everything. Then the fun began with convincing the German social security mafia to let me leave the nurturing care of the German system... :/

But hopefully, things changed and Skat modernized that system. Was about 10 years ago. At that point I really considered punching anyone in the face who told me, and actually never done it themselves, "oh it is so easy to relocate to another country within the EU! How amazing things are nowadays...."

Was much easier in Sweden.
