Will you have an income in DK? That's the determining fact to get any CC in DK. When you apply online they will ask you for permission to fetch information from Skat and if they can't see anything you won't get an approval. SEB (the card issuer) is a lot more foreigner friendly than other companies, so if you have income abroad you might need to get a hold of them to get an exception.

Sweden is CC heaven compared to DK.

I had every single bank and card issuer deny my application in the first year when I moved over. They didn’t even offered the option to talk to someone… actually SEB didn’t even allow me to open a bank account.
Thanks for the information, that is a bit disappointing to hear, but at least I can now manage my expectations. I will get a CPR number afaik, but my income will most likely still be Swiss. I have yet to figure out how exactly that'll work out with taxes. I'll give it a try anyway and hope an exception will be made (maybe by providing Swiss income documents?), as unlikely as it seems. Thanks for the information everybody!
