The only difference here is that as these seats are bulkhead your feet are not angled into the cubby hole as with other seats. This allows you to both sleep straight. Your upper bodies have the same seat divider as any other middle pair of seats. Do I prefer the bulkhead seats? Yes, as I'm tall and like the extra leg space. Is it really a double bed? No.
You could make the case that even the Suites double bed is not a full double bed but two singles next to each other as there is a plastic divider between the two beds which impedes the enjoyment somewhat (easily fixable though, cf QR).
On a separate note, apart from row 96 being a bulkhead, the true benefit to me is that in pre-revenge travel times, the back of the bus used to be emptier in J, which always made for a much pleasanter ride -- obviously this is no longer the case.
