TSA doesn't seem to care about belts being worn through security as long as they don't beep the metal detector, but other countries are picky about this. Has anyone found a way to avoid removing a belt when going through security?
If you know you would be able to clear the WTMD without the WTMD machine alarm getting triggered while wearing the belt, and if not subject to the body imaging scanners, then one way to try to keep the belt on is to have a long lose fitting shirt or (in some places) a long sweater that masks the belt from being publicly viewed while around and passing through the WTMD and/or body imaging scanners.
