FF numbers assigned to wrong pax in PNR - what now?

Weird one here. I have a flight tomorrow where I assigned my AY (Emerald) FF# to the reservation so we could assign MCE seats in advance. At 25 hours before the flight, I noticed that MCE and F were both wide open, so I decided I should change my number to my AA (Gold) account for a possible upgrade. I figured I'd lose the MCE seats but be able to get them back at check-in if we weren't upgraded.

Reached out to chat agent who was able to handle it quickly. Refreshed the reservation and the upgrade request was noted and we did not lose the MCE seats. An hour later, we were confirmed into F. But that's when I noticed that the AY FF number was still showing for me... and P2 had MY AA account number. Didn't think it was possible for an agent to assign someone else's FF number, but now both FF numbers in the reservation are mine.

Just called AA to try to get to the bottom of it, but of course there's a 90 minute wait. Will this actually work or at some point will this cause an issue with the reservation? I haven't tried checking in yet, as I'd rather have an AAgent looking at it and able to fix if it imperils the upgrade for some reason.
