I have reached EXP this year so I do not need any more loyalty points through February 28, 2023. I will be in Europe next Summer and I am considering booking some of my stays through the American Airlines Hotels portal. My fist issue is whether I should hold off booking until March 1, 2023, since I want to earn the loyalty points for 3/1/23 through 2/29/24 earning period. Then I am wondering for my Hilton stays whether booking through the American Airlines Hotels portal will restict my ability to receive my Hilton Diamond member benefits.
