My March BA holiday credited last week after my TP earning year had ended, into the previous year, although the avios are handy. It only took 6 months and I only had to contact them twice! So I am reluctant to bother with the extended offer seeing as when you book the hotel you don't have your status with the chain recognised, although the car hire as an alternative is more attractive. I reckon it is worth ringing just to make sure everything is set up properly. You don't get any OnBusiness points on a holiday booking though; it could be a business trip you are on rather than a holiday but there you are.
