I know a few pilots and FAs and all base their choices on lifestyle. The ones with young kids tend to try to do quick turns so they are home at night. The ones whose kids have moved out try to do European destinations with 48-hour or 72-hour turns so they can bring their spouse and enjoy a couple of days away. The ones who don’t have families may prioritize places they can stay for a night or two and party. All enjoy the flexibility that comes, especially with seniority.
